Unidentified aircraft of the 381st BG - Uncle Sammy

Solved: David Knight, grandson of Hubert A. Goss, reports that "Uncle Sammy" was originally named "Iris". As the story goes, the pilot broke up with Iris, and the word "Uncle" is painted over "Iris". Great story!
