Folly: B-17G 42-39997 (VP-T), Lockheed Vega. Returned
to the US on 5/30/45. Was formerly known as "Big
Mike" (photo) when it was written off. The aircraft
was rebuilt and named "Frenchy's Folly" in honor of
the Depot personnel who rebuilt her despite the odds. |
