Veterans of the 381st in World War II will be interested to know that the 381st was reactivated as the 381st Training Group at Vandenberg, AFB, CA, and the 532nd, 533rd, and 534th were reactivated as Training Squadrons. Unit heritage is alive and well with the 381st TRG, as shown here at their 1999 Dining In. Veterans of the 381st Bomb Group (Heavy) were invited to attend and Kevin Pearson's replica of the 381st bomb and shield was presented.
